There Is Never A Better Time To Start A Home Business Than Now

Everyone wants to experience work/life balance. But between longer work weeks and increased demands at home, it often feels near-impossible to give ample time to all aspects of life. And when you feel out of balance, stress is the inevitable response.

The curse that work life balance creates is that it just gives you more of the same. You are still juggling. It doesn't actually remove the problem totally. It doesn't lead to you living your ideal life on your own terms.



Be Organized- Keep a record of the official things that you wish to finish off by the weekend and sort them out on a priority basis. In this manner, the most important things will be done well within time. Handle the family needs in the same manner. To make things clear, write down the things-to-do for the week on the family whiteboard.

Make Time- If you really wish to spend more time with your family, you'll have to make time. So, instead of yapping away about your boss's new personal assistant with your colleagues, have your lunch at your desk. This way you'll get more work done and leave early for home.

Do you know how many hours there are in a week? 7 days in a week, 24 hours in a day, that's 168 hours in a week. If you work 40 hours that leaves 128. If you sleep 8 hours a day, that's 56 hours a week leaving you 72 hours that you are not working and not asleep. That means that you are asleep more hours than you work and you have almost twice as many hours with your family as you work. With this in mind, what needs to happen to give you more work-life website balance?



Business success is something all of us are striving for, myself included, but achieving this goal is impossible without a balance at home and work. Working at home is easier once I ironed out the snags that typically get in the way of productivity. By creating a simple system, the balance of time between my family, social life and business is a no brainer.

What would be considered a job well done? How would this be measured and/or know if you are meeting these goals successfully? Can you attach a number to it? Do you believe you are capable of achieving this?

Instead of blaming someone else for your plight, take control of your life and make choices around it - thereafter own the consequences. Be happy, this life is only for once!
